Watch this and you'll never procrastinate again.

Hey there rebel!

If you’re reading this, then you’re one of the many - countless! - creatives around the world who like to procrastinate. We don’t like it per se, but we do it a lot. Whether it’s because we’re putting things off or just getting distracted, procrastination is running rampant these days…

Don’t get me wrong, a little bit of it has been proven to be beneficial to creativity, but a lot results in NOTHING being done. And that’s not good.

In the beginning of this year - 2018 - I began so used to procrastinating every day that it ended up stopping my writing and halting my work altogether, I needed to figure something out fast, and this is what happened.

Someone recommended a tool for me, and I haven’t looked back since.

Are you a plotter or a pantser? Try both!

Are you a plotter or a pantser? Try both!

Hey there rebel!

You know when you’re doing your thing and it’s like something’s not working? Maybe you’re blocked, maybe you’re tired, or maybe it’s time for a change.

For someone like me, who always says to bet on your strengths and do it your way, even I have to admit, sometimes your way might actually be in the way of progress, of growth, of what you may become if you weren’t so busy trying to keep everything the same because you’re afraid of change.

#GUILTY

Truth is, this year has been challenging a lot of my assumptions, like…

You should always go with your natural way.

This year I’m doing #NaNoWriMo my way. What about you?

This year I’m doing #NaNoWriMo my way. What about you?

Hey there rebel!

Let me guess… you were freaking out before NaNoWriMo started - whaaaaat, everyone else is prepared, but I’m not ready!!! - and then you thought you couldn’t possibly write 50K words in one month, and now you feel like you’re falling behind because everyone’s word count is higher…

You know what? Screw that.

Stop thinking about the way everyone else is doing NaNoWriMo. You do you.

From the start, I said that I’d be a NaNo Rebel and…

Writer's block just before NaNoWriMo? Try my non-sucky writing prompts!

Writer's block just before NaNoWriMo? Try my non-sucky writing prompts!

Hey there rebel!

Usually I have 100 ideas every day, so writer’s block… not really a problem, except for when I’m psychologically blocked. But back in the beginning of 2018, I was starting to write short stories and I found myself with NO IDEAS.

I was shocked. How come? Well, it happens to all.

My solution was to come up with some (non-sucky) writing prompts, and I don’t mean the ones that give you a story idea to write, but the ones that are merely tools to help you come up with your own fun ideas.

(Two of those are perfect for speculative fiction writers like yours truly, and the rest are perfect for anyone who writes storiesssss.)

How to blog when you have “too many interests.”

How to blog when you have “too many interests.”

Hey there rebel!

If you’re multipassionate, you probably know how weird it is to start a blog… because you are supposed to pick one subject and when you do, it only lasts a while before you have to create a new blog, and a new blog, and a…

Yeah, it gets crazy. But it doesn’t have to be.

You don’t have to worry whether you’re confusing your people or whether you’re losing their interest or whether you’re coming off as flakey.

Suffering from perfectionism? My clients love this exercise.

Suffering from perfectionism? My clients love this exercise.

Hey there rebel!

Do you tend to overdo everything you, well, do? Like… you can finish a presentation in an hour, but you take ten hours because every single slide has to look and sound… perfect? I know the feeling.

When I’m on Photoshop, a single image takes me hours to complete and then a couple more to create a ton more images that differ only slightly.

It used to drive me mad!!!

And it’s even worse when you’ve just started doing something new - video, podcasting, or what not, and you want it to be perfect, but it can’t be, so you drive yourself even more mad. Madder than the Mad Hatter…

How to get rid of your Inner Critic.

How to get rid of your Inner Critic.

Hey there rebel!

If you’re a creative of any sort, or a human of any sort, you know what it’s like to have a grumpy old puss inside your brain spoiling everyone’s fun.

Yes, I’m talking about your Inner Critic.

Back when I was starting this brand in 2015, I had a major case of Impostor Syndrome and my Inner Critic was milking it. He was saying that I sucked, that I couldn’t do anything right, and why even bother…

Balancing creative work and creative hobbies.

Balancing creative work and creative hobbies.

Hey there rebel!

Have you ever had any trouble balancing your work with your creativity?

I’ve recently experienced a difficulty around the impossible task of doing both my online business and my fiction writing justice. I would either jump into one and then have no energy for the other, or I would try to do both and fail.

Balancing work and hobbies is hard enough, but when your work is creative and your hobby is creative, WATCH OUT.

Today I’m talking about this on my Youtube channel and sharing how I’m planning to tackle this problem…

Having “too many passions” doesn’t mean you can’t follow one path.

Having “too many passions” doesn’t mean you can’t follow one path.

Hey there rebel!

Do you have “too many passions”? Does it drive you crazy? Do you sometimes wish you could have "a “one true calling” like the normal people?

Yeah… I know that feeling well.

The good news is: You don’t need one passion to have one path.

In today’s vlog I tell you my multipassionate story - how I went through all the things to arrive back to where I started. Your journey will be different, but maybe you’ll find parts that resonate and make you feel better.

When was the last time you did that thing?

When was the last time you did that thing?

Hey there rebel!

The day has come - I have started VLOGGING.

(And I don’t mean like last couple of times when I did a few videos and then dropped off the face of Youtube for a year.)

My goal for this channel is to share my thoughts as a writer, multipassionate, and creative rebel, and have you join me on this crazy journey.

The first vlog is a tiny motivational video…
