Last week I transformed my creative business.

You know how sometimes you wake up uninspired and unmotivated, wondering why everything feels like a chore? Last week felt like that for me. So it's not so much about how much different it is, but about how my business feels right now.

Instead of throwing the usual daily tantrum:

Waaaa, I don't wanna do this today! and Work is boring, when do I play?

Now I find myself feeling more excited than frustrated:

Wheeeeeee, I can't wait to start tomorrow, and enthusiasm-related insomnia.

Don't get me wrong, work is still work, but I feel like I stumbled upon something that really helped me design a life that is more fun than it is work. It's a simple exercise, which you can try for yourself after watching the short video below. 

It may not wok for everyone, but it's worth a try, isn't it?

As a result of this exercise I have rethought:

• my blogging strategy (there will be more short blogs + rebel links)

• my community building strategy (there will be more creative challenges)

• my launch strategy (there will be less pressure, more fun)

When you wake up feeling like everything you do every day is a chore - even though you have designed it yourself - you know it's time for a change. Sometimes it happens because you have outgrown the old ways and sometimes simply because you got bored with the old ways and need to try new, exciting ways. (Any multipassionates in the house?!)

At the end of the day, what you need matters more than what you're "supposed to do."

And if you're afraid your peeps will not like the changes, please remind yourself who's sailing your ship - is it you or them? At the end of the day, we need you sane, rested, and rejuvenated from all the fun you've been having. 

Isn't this why you quit the 9-to-5? So that you wouldn't have to work work work all day, but have some fun as well? Duuuh. 

Your creative business is a once in a lifetime opportunity.
